About Ice Designs

Ice Designs is a family owned and operated business. We have been in the Houston , Texas area since 1995 providing top quality ice sculptures.

Don Henley and his wife, Stacey, started Ice Designs at their first Bridal Extravaganza in January 1995. We gradually built the company with a professional dedication to high quality products and customer service. Don graduated from University of Houston with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1994. During college he started sculpting ice for fun. As time went on he realized this was his life passion.

We manufacture our own crystal clear ice blocks. This gives us the capability to freeze in pictures, flowers, etc. Let us design your ice sculpture whether it be a multiple block sculpture or something as small as a centerpiece. Ice Bars, available in all sizes, are one of the most popular and fun ice sculptures you could add to your event. Design options to coordinate with your event are endless. Weddings, company events, birthdays and graduations, we can provide something for any type of event.

A few things that set Ice Designs apart from other ice companies are the 1998 Bronze metal from the World Championship Ice Art Competition that Don won in Fairbanks, Alaska and the 6th place award in the 2002 Winter Olympic Ice Competition won by Don and his brother Doug (our full time carver who won Silver metal in Fairbanks, Alaska in 2004). These accomplishments are signs of devotion to ice sculpting.
